Synnove Zephyr Cupid, stylized as Synnove Z. Cupid, [she/her] is a 2019-introduced and all-around character. She is one of the many daughters of the Greek God, Eros, and is destined to take his role in Aesop's Fable, Death and Cupid.
At the time of the Rebel Movement, Synnove is attending her Classic Year (Fourth Year) and currently rooms with Olympia Charming. Though she has no issue with the story she's set to repeat, Synnove just doesn't want anything to do with her father, thus, siding with the Rebels.

Much of Synnove's past prior to attending Ever After High is unknown.
At some point, Synnove left Norway and moved to Greece to live with her biological father, Eros. Nothing is known about why she left Norway or what happened to her mother.

There is little to no information about Synnove's time between her Freedom Year and Classic Year.
Classic Year[]
Upon Raven Queen refusing to sign the Storybook of Legends, it is revealed by Synnove that she was only with the Royals out of duty. She wanted nothing to do with her paternal family and even years later, still doesn't want anything to do with them.

- Often seen as the Black Sheep of the family, with her refusal to have any connection with Love and whatnot; her black feather wings only add in the drama of being the Black Sheep.

Physical Appearance[]
Synnove is a teenager of mixed Norwegian and Greek descent. She has long black hair with a rose pink highlights, dark green-gray eyes, with a light olive-colored skin tone. She wears a lot of black, to show her rebellious stage, accented with rose pink, because rose pink is the new black, in her words. She has large black feathered wings with a pale pink ombre.

Synnove finds animals easier to communicate with over people. She spends all her freetime visiting the local animal shelter and helping out there.

Unlike her half-siblings, Synnove did not inherit Eros's famed love powers, rather she gained his empathy abilities. Though, her powers focus more on the negative aspect of lovve and emotion, and are powered by her own emotions.

- Empathy: Synnove is able to interpret and replicate the emotions, moods, and temperaments of others.
- Empathic energy manipulation: She is able to manipulate the energy by using emotions, essentially performing feats normally associated with Telekinesis. Her magic aura is black with a tint of rose pink.
- Negative emotional energy manipulation: Synnove's empathy powers are more enhanced with her negative emotions and the power she has the most control over.

- Archery: Like with any child of Eros, Synnove was taught how to use a bow and arrow. However, she hates it, and never uses it. In fact, her bow and arrow set is back home on Mount Olympus collecting dust in her room.

Biological mother[]
Not much is known about Synnove's biological mother. Whether the woman is alive or deceased is unknown.
Synnove doesn't openly talk about her birth mother, not even her roommate Olympia know much about her. The only thing that is known about her biological mother is where most of Synnove's physical features come from.
Eros[]
Synnove's relationship with her father is well strained, to say the least. With his many duties and already many children, Eros doesn't have much time for Synnove. So far, the only one-on-one time they spent was when Synnove left Norway and moved to Greece.
Psyche[]
Synnove doesn't necessarily hate Psyche, step-mother, but finds her annoying at times. Especially when she tries to get her to join in on the family. Synnove has yelled at her but to her utter surprise, Psyche takes it in. She understands she is not Synnove's mother and will never be, but hopes one day, to be the female figure Synnove needs in her life.

As one of the children of Eros, Synnove has many siblings. She doesn't bother remembering their names half the time as she doesn't even bother trying to talk with them. She could care less about any of her siblings and doesn't want anything to do with them or the family. When any of them try to approach her, Synnove generally walks away to avoid talking with them.

Due to her antisocial nature, Synnove doesn't make friends easily, and doesn't try to make friends. It also adds in with her avoiding people so they don't ask her questions about love or Cupid.
Olympia Charming[]
Olympia Charming is Synnove's roommate and though they don't talk often, they respect each other.

Synnove has a mutual respect for the Egyptian princess. Both are pretty much antisocial to other students, but to each other, welll.... They will acknowledge each other and nothing more.

Aliuros[]
A little while after moving to Greece, Synnove rescued an orphan lynx cub, whom she named Aliuros. Despite her father's refusal, Synnove kept the cub (Psyche convinced Eros to let Synnove keep the kitten).
Ailuros stays close to Synnove, almost never leaving her side. The only time she does leave her owner's side is when the teen has to go to her classes.
Skia[]
During Animal Calling, a pitch black wolf came to Synnove, whom she named Skia, which was Greek for shadow. She later came to learn that Skia loved walking in the shadows.
Romance[]
Synnove identieis as 'panromantic. She claim she does not care for titles and whatnot, and prefers not to have have an open mind for things.
Because her father is the God of Love, Synnove has a negative look on love. She typically wants nothing to do with it, refusing anything to do with it. Despite how she reacts about love, Synnove deeply wishes that someone would like her for her, and not just because her father is Eros.

Etymology[]
Her full name is Synnove Zephyr Cupid.
The name Synnove is a Norwegian name meaning "Present of the sun". Her second name Zephyr is a Greek name meaning "Westerly wind". The name Cupid comes from the Roman name of Eros, Greek God of Love. It is using the same naming format as the canon character, C.A. Cupid.
It is unknown if this is her actual birth name, or the name chosen upon moving in with her father and step-mother.
