A 2021-introduced character, Raelynn Row [she/her] is the Rebel daughter from the famous nursery rhyme, 'Row, Row, Row Your Boat'. Raelynn is known to be snarky and sarcastic around everyone, and for her quick fuse.

Personality[]
To many people, Raelynn can first be seen as insensitive and oblivious. She's none of those, actually, that's just what people think of her sarcasm, which she couldn't care less about. Raelynn hates how she gets annoyed quickly and how it can trigger her anger, because she's seen what anger has done. How many friendships that could've lasted forever after, fell apart due to the poison of anger. How anger could damage the most purest of hearts. This is why she works so hard on her short temper. In general, she acts how she would with friends, nice and sweet. Unless they say something thats insensitive then they will see her temper.
Raelynn is very vocal about her opinions, not caring if it didn't go with someones own beliefs. If you want to change Raelynn's mind, I hope you have enough patience because it's very hard to change her mind. If you do manage to do the near impossible, it's probably because she recognized that you had a good point in your argument and made more sense than her own opinion. Raelynn is courageous when it comes to fighting with anyone. It can be from anyone from teachers to students to her own family.
When people do get to know Raelynn, they can immediately see how hard she works on her temper by how she tries to focus on her breathing or how she tries to change the topic. They can see that Raelynn actually has a heart of gold, but with that heart of gold is this silver tongue that manages to control her before her heart can. Towards her friends, she's kind, goofy, supportive, and loving.
Suddenly, out of the blue, Raelynn can become very frustrated sometimes, breaking down in tears about how much she hates her anger issues. It's very rare to see Raelynn crying, because she always tries to acts like that 'cool' and 'strong' friend who doesn't like to show her emotions much-- including her anger. When she does breakdown, she gives no care to where she is and who is around her. She tries to change herself so much for these people and herself, can't they see how hard it is?
Appearance[]
Raelynn has ocean blue eyes that change depending on what the state/color of the nearest body of water by her is. She's usually wearing silver-framed pilot sunglasses either on her face or placed atop her head. She has slightly tan skin due to being around beaches when she was younger. She has doubles piercings on each ear. The first earrings are real pearls, but she often switches them up with simple black ones that her mother gave her. The second ones are small sailboats. She also has a necklace that has small sand dollars and pastel seashells. Raelynn's lips are particularly something that she likes about herself, being plump and red. Her hair is a sandy blonde, which brushes her shoulders. Her hair falls into beach waves with a wispy full fringe that brushes over her eyes. Raelynn has a lean build and is slightly shorter than the average 16 year old.

How does Raelynn come into it?[]
Raelynn doesn't want to be a part of this 'story' or 'nursery rhyme'. She feels like it's a waste of time and that she can be doing something better, like helping her friends with their own destinies! Or helping the needy! Not singing about rowing a boat gently down the stream!
Although, when her own mother completed her destiny, she just bought a beach house. This part of her destiny, Raelynn doesn't mind. The rest? She absolutely despises it.
When she was younger, Raelynn was taught about fossils. Ever since then, she seems to have an absolute love for them. She loves collecting and searching for them. When she isn't successful in doing that, she goes and looks for seashells, being much more accomplished with finding those.

Family[]
Raelynn has a decent relationship with her mother. They do get into arguments, but they manage to work it out. Her mother hasn't said much about Raelynn's final decision to Rebel against her destiny, and Raelynn's grateful for that. Raelynn never met her father, and she doesn't want too. The old man was never there for her. Why should she seek him out? If he really cared about her and her mother, he would've stayed and watched Raelynn grow up.
Friends[]
Raelynn doesn't have any friends that she's made yet, and she won't admit it, but she does wish she had some friends like the rest of the students.
Beta Botter[]
More than grateful for having made a friend, Raelynn gets along surprisingly well with the daughter of Betty Botter, Beta! Raelynn loves Beta's food, whether it be Beta's hexcellent sweets or spelltacular savory foods!
Frost White[]
Meeting her quiet roommate, Raelynn also stayed silent until they got to know each other better. Frost may be Rae’s first true friend that she spends a lot of time with. Despite Frost’s quiet nature, Raelynn manages to get the two of them to have fun conversations. Also, Raelynn has no problem with standing up for her friend and speaking up for her if she isn’t able to.
Keira Grimm[]
Raelynn is very grateful that she managed to meet someone as hexcellent as Keira, because she would've never thought that anyone would try to help her work on her temper. Despite that, her and Keira get along very well, and Rae loves how exciting Keira can be- always enjoying every moment with her (when Keira isn't holding her back from fighting someone). Also- the fact that the two of them will fight someone- Raelynn just finds that endearing and important.

Catlyn C. Blanche[]
Much to Raelynn's demise, this particular white cat has made it her goal to be the reason why all of Rae's breathing exercises to keep her calm, fail. Yes sometimes Rae is amused by how Catlyn tries to get on her nerves, but at times it also results in Raelynn yelling at Catlyn to mind her own business and to go bother someone else. Most of the time Raelynn doesn't mean it, but her pride and annoyance won't bring her to apologize, especially since she knows that this is what Catlyn was striving for.
Pet[]
A tortoise, and Raelynn was more than ecstatic for her! She named her Turquoise, due to the beautiful turquoise shade on her shell. Turquoise isn't that slow, and moves decently fast for a tortoise. Turquoise is currently Raelynn's closest friend.
Romance[]
Raelynn isn't dating anyone, and she doesn't think that she should be looking for a love, especially not when she hasn't achieved her goal of being the best version of herself.

I'm pretty sure there are some people who Raelynn doesn't get along with.
Outfits[]
Raelynn is usually wearing a fluttery white off-shoulder blouse with either jean shorts or a flowy, maxi blue (embroidered with small white seashells) spring skirt.
Most of her clothes have some sort of seashell/beachy theme to it. Her colors tend to be pastel blues, pinks, grays, and white.
Trivia[]
- Raelynn is an excellent swimmer- she enjoys doing the backstroke very much.
- She enjoys riding on the dragons.
- She's always chewing on gum to help with her stress and in order for her to not grind on her teeth when she gets mad.
- She has a collection of sunglasses.
- The best habit that has worked so far is braiding small pieces of her hair whenever she feels like someone's going to anger her.
- She's not the biggest fan of nicknames.
- When she's particularly upset, Raelynn tries to sleep it off.
- She has an accent. (British, to be more specific)
- Some nicknames she doesn't mind being called are Rae and Lynn. Usually, people stick with Rae.
- She has a collection of fossils and seashells which she usually keeps in her dorm.
- Raelynn is definitely a Gryffindor, from how much she values determination and courage, to doing her best and doing her best to follow those values.
