Rosalinde Hijinx Dread, "Jinx" to anyone that wants to remain walking, is the daughter of Roxanne Red and Mickey Dread. She inherits her mother's destiny of being the next Rose Red and in the destiny conflict, she is a Rebel. It's not so much the story she has a problem with, it's that she's seen first hand how hypocritical and fake the world of royalty is and she doesn't want to be a part of it.
Appearance[]
Jinx has dark red hair, the color of dried blood, she wears loose and wavy with things randomly caught in it. She has warm brown skin and olive green eyes. Dark freckles dot her face if she's out in the sun too long, they're less noticeable if it's winter or if she's just been inside. She's pretty tall and has a small scar on her nose.
Jinx usually wears a quilted black top with a skirt that looks like it's made out of olive green roses. She has black tights and olive green boots with a bear shaped buckle. In her right ear is an earring shaped like a red bear's head.
Personality[]
Jinx is impossible to fool. Whether it's pretending that your a worse person than you are, or pretending that your a better person than you are, or trying to keep a secret, somehow Jinx knows literally everything that you try to hide from her. Maybe that's because her father kept a facade up for so long or because royalty is rife with secret scandals. Or maybe that's just because of who she is.
Jinx inherited her mother's redhead temper, but unlike with Roxie, nothing can calm her down once she gets into a frenzy. There's no color she can see that will help her calm down, at least none that people can see. The best thing to do is pull her away from anyone she might hurt or anything she may break until she either gets distracted or gets tired enough she doesn't have the energy for temper.
She does not like unfairness. That's what activates her temper the most. For her mother it was people not knowing the tale, for her it's double standards or discrimination. Both of which she unfortunately sees a lot of in the blueblooded circle she was born into. She's glad that she's not actually in line to rule, but she doesn't like that she's technically a princess.
She is very good at holding grudges. If you've wronged her, her friends, her mother, her father...she knows. And she is waiting for the perfect moment to get her revenge on you. She's very creative with her methods of getting revenge as well. It doesn't matter if you've made up with the person you've wronged, Jinx knows about it and she's not even going to consider forgiving you until she gets to see you suffer.
Her default expression is more of a blank one. She does smile and laugh, more often than her father did when he was younger, but not as often as most people do. She's often lost in her head and when that happens, her expression is blank. Until someone says something to get her attention then she snaps out of it pretty easily.
Jinx often speaks out against mistreatment or when things don't seem to be the way she thinks they should be. And there's no talking her out of her opinions. Even if she personally doesn't like the person that is being treated unfairly, it's not going to stop her from using her voice to draw attention to it and try to change it.
She does not get why people in the above situations don't always appreciate her efforts to draw attention to their circumstances. In her mind, she's being their hero, being the good guy, the person that in fairy tales would save the world from the villains. People like that kind of person in fairy tales, why wouldn't they like it in her life?
When it comes to Jinx, if what you did to her doesn't leave any kind of physical mark, then she's not going to do anything about it. If you hurt anyone else she cares about in any way then she's going to enact revenge. But as long as it's nothing physically painful, you can do whatever you want to her. (Unless Mickey or Roxanne find out about this in which case you better run and you better run fast.)
She doesn't like people placing her on a higher pedestal then she thinks she should be in. Likewise, she also doesn't like it when people place her on a lower pedestal then she thinks she deserves. She has an opinion of herself and that will never change. She doesn't think she's some unredeemable villain like her father still has tendencies to think of himself as. Nor does she think of herself as some perfect person for whatever role she's needed to play, like the other Snow White does. Jinx knows she's not perfect and she even acknowledges she's not great, but she also insists she's pretty good as far as people go.

Abilities[]
Magic: Jinx has inherited her father's ability to cast magic, mostly light magic and if she wanted to use it she could strengthen it. But because she hates Nimue and that's where the magic came from, Jinx never uses it. Well, that's not entirely true. She uses it only when something bad will happen if she doesn't, but that's pretty rare because it's light magic and light magic can rarely do damage. So few people actually know that she has magic and she likes it that way.
Interests[]
Theater: Jinx uses her voice for more than just speaking out against injustices. She actually loves to act and she loves to watch any sort of performances. If you watch a movie with her be prepared to see her staring at them, analyzing each move the actors make.
Dorm[]
Jinx's side of the dorm is painted black with an olive green sparkly rose pattern stenciled over it. She has a green bed frame with a black comforter, and a stuffed demon bear on her bed. It's a red bear with bat wings, horns and a third eye. Her side of the room is cluttered but clean, and on her desk, (redwood) is a vase with a singular dead rose in it. Is it the same rose her father always kept?
